"The Dark Land", is a massive island connected to Western Florida, shrouded in a deep black fog, with constant storms and an extremely unstable atmosphere, as well as toxic air, and is filled with disease, It has an extreme level of Entities present, Most of them being Hazard Level S or higher. It is unknown where it came from or how it formed, but it just appeared one day. Locals had claimed that just minutes before they heard extremely loud thunderstorms and bright flashes, as well as the clouds suddenly darkening, then a pitch black fog rolled over the horizon, and after it dispersed, the island was there. Some had tried to explore it, but close to none could even get past the extremely dangerous oceanic hazards the island has, Large waves, storms, but oddly enough these conditions never go out past 30 miles of the island. The Dark Land does contain unknown materials and resources, as well as the odd fact that some areas set off Geiger Counters. The E.C.S.T.A.S.Y Foundation has established a personal, secured road to The Dark Land, that only lets verified members through, Primarily using the Island to harvest its resources and unknown materials for study and use, in hopes of development of new technology.

There has only been one documented civilian that has survived The Dark Land, and his journal was found and recovered in the center of the island three weeks after his rescue.
